The Journey Through Change

As we go through life we know things will change. As children we look forward to finishing school and starting a career, meeting new people, and travelling to new places. With each one of these events we may feel excitement, apprehension, and maybe even fear. All of these feelings are normal and to be expected. It is all part of growing and moving forward in our life.

Beginning a yoga practice is in many ways a journey of change as well. We each step onto the yoga path for different reasons at different stages of our lives. Some start the journey for building strength and flexibility. Some may be seeking relief for a health issue. Others may be seeking a more meditative practice to relieve stress. Taking that first step can be exciting but it can also have an element of apprehension and maybe a little fear.

As Tina and I take our next step in our yoga journey we are hoping that we can share what we have learned along the way. We have grown in our own practice and met wonderful people along the way. We look forward to working with our students and sharing the yoga path along the journey through change.
